(ANSA) – ANCONA, June 27 – An Italian seafarer died today when the vongolara he was on board overturned, just before dawn, off the coast of Falconara Marittima (Ancona). The man was part of the crew, consisting of two people: the other seafarer was saved instead. To give the alarm via radio were other motor boats sailing in the area, which managed to rescue the other seafarer. The rescues, coordinated by the Port Authority of Ancona, were immediately triggered with the dispatch of a patrol boat from the Ancona Coast Guard and the Sub Unit of the Fire Brigade, which arrived at the site in less than half an hour, and found the body the other from the overturned vongolara remained afloat. The wreck is currently being recovered, which remained semi-surfacing in the sea just north of the pier of the Api refinery. Investigations by the Port Authority of Ancona are underway. (HANDLE).
