Robbery in a villa in Florence, owners threatened and locked up

(ANSA) – FLORENCE, JUN 27 – Robbery in a villa in Florence, in via San Felice a Ema, in the hills around the city, where last night the owners were threatened, locked up in their rooms and robbed. The stolen goods are a Rolex watch, suitcases full of clothes and cash worth tens of thousands of euros. The robbers acted around one in the morning. Victims of the assault, an Italian-Russian couple, a joint elderly woman and a servant. Everyone was sleeping. According to police reconstructions, there were also four criminals, with their faces covered by a balaclava. One would have served as a stake, while the others broke through a back door and then joined the owners in the bedroom. One of the robbers, the only one, apparently, armed with a gun, threatened the couple to have money and jewelry delivered.

In these moments the owner would have protested and therefore, for this, he would have been hit in the face by a criminal. Her wife would be yanked to force her to reveal where the family kept the money.

The criminals would have rounded up and locked everyone in the house in a room and raided the villa before running away with the loot. (HANDLE).
