(ANSA) – ROME, JUN 27 – Rapid but intense change in weather conditions in the North. From the early hours of tomorrow, in fact, we will witness the passage of a disturbed front that will affect our northern regions and upper Tuscany, with strong storms, hailstorms and associated gusts of wind.
The ventilation, from the western quadrants, will determine a progressive drop in temperatures, first in the North and, subsequently, also in the Center-South.
Based on the forecasts available, the Civil Protection Department, in agreement with the regions involved, issued a warning of adverse weather conditions. From the early hours of tomorrow, the notice foresees scattered to diffuse rainfall, with a prevalent downpour or thunderstorm character, even of strong intensity, on Valle d’Aosta and Piedmont, in extension, during the morning in Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, Lombardy, autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano, Veneto and northern Tuscany.
On the basis of the expected phenomena, a yellow alert for thunderstorm risk was assessed for tomorrow, Tuesday 28 June, in Valle D’Aosta, Piedmont, Lombardy, Liguria, Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Autonomous Province of Trento, Emila-Romagna, Veneto and Northern Tuscany, and for hydrogeological risk in Valle D’Aosta, Autonomous Province of Bolzano, Autonomous Province of Trento and part of Lombardy.
