For this stratagem the migrants would have paid from one thousand to six thousand euros.
For the crimes of criminal association aimed at aiding illegal immigration and aggravated fraud, the financiers arrested ten people in the province of Bari.
The 49-year-old Maurizio Pappadopoli, accountant of Mola di Bari, and the 55-year-old Tanay Bhattacharajee, head of an immigration center, of Indian nationality, ended up in prison, accused of procuring the practices to the professional.
