(ANSA) – MONTEGIORGIO, 03 JUL – Accident during take off, last night, for an ultralight aircraft in Montegiorgio nel Fermano. Shortly before 8 pm, a microlight that was taking off, due to causes under investigation, was unable to get up completely and fell, ending up outside the airfield in the vegetation adjacent to the Tenna river.
The firefighters of the Command of Fermo intervened to rescue the two occupants of the aircraft; the operators collaborated in the recovery of the two people and later secured the vehicle and the entire area.
Both men on board the ultralight were injured: one of the two, more seriously injured, was transported to the regional hospital of Torrette in Ancona; the other would have suffered milder consequences and is now being assisted at the hospital in Fermo. On the spot, in addition to the personnel of the fire brigade of Fermo and the health workers, there were also the carabinieri for all the investigations of the case and to reconstruct the dynamics of the accident.
