(ANSA) – AOSTA, 04 JUL – Cristian Cattaneo, a 51-year-old craftsman from Milan who was injured in an accident at work on Thursday 30 June in Aosta died at the weekend at the Parini hospital in Aosta, where he was hospitalized in very serious conditions. Gressoney-La-Trinité, in the Staffal area. Owner of a window and door company in Arluno (Milan), he was working on the installation of a fixture in a building near the ski lifts when he fell from a ladder, hitting his head and suffering a head injury. The helicopter rescue had intervened on the spot and the man had been hospitalized in the intensive care unit, with a confidential prognosis. Investigations by the Spresal and the carabinieri are underway.
He leaves behind his daughter and wife, Samuela. “I know that you will always be there and thanks to your final surprise someone will be able to live a long life thanks to you” wrote the woman in a post on facebook, thus announcing an organ donation.
