(ANSA) – MONDRAGONE (CASERTA), 05 JUL – Three workers were seriously injured in Mondragone (Caserta) in a fire in the restaurant, not yet open to the public, where they were working. The restaurant is located on the Domiziana state road.
The fire brigade of Caserta (Teano detachment) intervened on the spot, and upon their arrival they found the restaurant hall invaded by flames, probably generated by an explosion in the kitchen, in which the three workers present in that moment in the structure.
The firefighters tamed the flames and rescued the three people by taking them out of the facility, delivering them to the care of the 118 health workers, who urgently took the injured, with severe burns all over their bodies, to nearby hospitals. The Mondragone Carabinieri were also on site. (HANDLE).
