Spaccio in Lombardy, eleven arrests by the Guardia di Finanza

(ANSA) – MILAN, 08 JUL – The soldiers of the Provincial Command of the Guardia di Finanza of Milan have concluded an activity that has identified two different criminal groups, one of Italian origin and the other North African, involved in the trafficking of large quantities of cocaine and hashish operating mainly in the provinces of Milan, Monza Brianza, Varese, Como and Bergamo.

The activity carried out with the coordination of the Milan Public Prosecutor’s Office allowed the arrest of eleven people, the denunciation of another seven for possession of narcotic substances, the seizure of about 12 kilograms of cocaine and hashish, 50 thousand euros in cash, one Beretta caliber 22 pistol without serial number with 28 cartridges.

The investigations had been started in July 2020 after the arrest of a small drug dealer from Paderno: telephone and environmental wiretapping, stalking and stalking made it possible to trace the supply chain of the narcotic substance up to identifying the leaders of the group, two brothers Moroccans orbiting between the provinces of Milan and Bergamo, who over the years had woven a dense network of contacts, to become a point of reference for the shopping squares of the Milanese and Bergamo hinterland.

In one case, they tried to escape by forcing a checkpoint, damaging cars and injuring the military who arrested them.

Another criminal group of Italians operating in the Milanese and Brianza hinterland, which had also created a dense network of cocaine retailing, was identified and vanquished. (HANDLE).
