(ANSA) – CATANZARO, 08 JUL – The southbound lane of the A2 Mediterranean motorway is partially closed to traffic at km 234 Mongrassano Torano after strong gusts of wind ripped up and blew part of the roof of a factory located near the tract of the artery. The material spilled onto the roadway. A team of firefighters from the provincial command of Cosenza arrived on the spot to remove the obstacle. Also present were the traffic police for the duties of competence and Anas for the restoration of normal safety conditions of the section concerned. There was no damage to people.
Other teams of the fire brigade of the Cosenza command are engaged for interventions due to adverse weather conditions, at the moment, however, there are no reports of particular criticalities or damage to people. (HANDLE).
