(ANSA) – PAVIA, 09 JUL – A 62-year-old teacher, a teacher in an elementary school in Pavia, was indicted on charges of abuse of means of correction. The facts date back to 2020, the year in which the complaint was presented, but the affair came to light only with the start of the trial.

The same school where the teacher works had denounced the facts. Another teacher reported that one day she entered the class of the teacher who had finished trial, and that she noticed a pupil wearing a pair of donkey ears designed by another girl: according to the accusation she was the teacher to ask him for it. She also she on other occasions she would have turned to other children calling them “beasts” and “imbeciles”, and placing a paper crown on the head of a pupil with the words “The king of donkeys”. The teacher’s defender argues that these are “unfounded accusations” and that the trial will prove her client’s innocence.

Despite the complaint to the judicial authorities, no disciplinary proceedings were initiated: the teacher continued to teach and will soon retire. (HANDLE).
