(ANSA) – MONZA, 13 JUL – A 43-year-old man, originally from Sri Lanka, was arrested by the Monza Mobile Squad on charges of sexual violence. This is the assailant of a 32-year-old girl who was thrown to the ground and tried to rape her in the Monza Park on June 27th. Thanks to the images of the video surveillance cameras of the area and the identikit developed by the Scientific Police of Milan, the 43-year-old was tracked down inside the Monza Park. The man, who has been living in Brianza for years, has specific precedents.
In 2006 and 2020 he was stopped by the police for showing himself completely naked to young girls, always inside the city park.
He was then arrested in execution of a precautionary custody order issued by the investigating judge of Monza. The police chief of Monza, Marco Odorisio, personally informed the victim of the attack of the arrest (ANSA).
