(ANSA) – MILAN, JUL 13 – Eleven teams with about thirty firefighters intervened during the night in the municipality of Garbagnate Milanese to put out the fire in a disused warehouse. The building – explain the firefighters – was used as a shelter by the homeless, but, at present, no people have been found.
The flames developed in an area of about 2,000 square meters and the fire involved the wall paneling of the building and the waste.
The flames and heat caused part of the roof to collapse.
The extinguishing operations of the latest outbreaks are still underway by three teams, to exclude the presence of any people involved inside. (HANDLE).
