(ANSA) – NAPLES, JUL 13 – Good turnout this morning at the anti Covid hub of Capodimonte, in Naples, now reopened to the public for the administration of the fourth dose of the vaccine.

At the opening of the center, at 9, there were already a hundred people who were found in line ready to enter.

Almost all of them are over 60. Some complaints about waiting in the sun due to the high summer temperatures are inevitable.

The medical center had already been reopened last week, for two mornings a week, in order to encourage the administration of the fourth doses.

From today, the Fagianeria vaccination hub, set up inside the Capodimonte park, will instead be in full-time operation, every day from 9 to 14, excluding Sundays.

The basic need is to relieve the pressure on the territorial health districts where the influx of over 60s recorded in recent days has been strong. Other local health authorities in Campania are also preparing to reopen some of the hubs set up to cope with the first phase of the pandemic. (HANDLE).
