(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 13 JUL – The opening of the vaccination schedule for the 4th dose has been anticipated and 393 reservations have been made this morning. As Riccardo Riccardi, the deputy governor of Fvg with responsibility for Health, pointed out, the burning departure of the second booster dose is also the driving force for the other groups besides the new audience (citizens between 60 and 79 years and fragile subjects from 12 years of age) .
Today 789 bookings have been received, of which 393 concern the new audience. Riccardi pointed out that in any case “it will take a few days to evaluate the progress of bookings and consequently to coherently size the offer on the territory”. Federfarma Fvg has made it known that from 4pm today you can book the 4 / a dose at the pharmacy while general practitioners (Fimmg) are ready to carry out vaccinations in their clinics or at home for patients with travel difficulties. The booking lists, however, will be open from tomorrow, July 14th.
In the meantime, the structures are reorganized: from tomorrow afternoon the vaccines will no longer be carried out at the Hub Fincantieri Center, but in the Sampling Center of the San Polo Hospital in Monfalcone. In Gorizia the vaccines are administered to the Fair Authority (Via della Barca 15); in Trieste at the Hydrodynamic Power Station of Porto Vecchio.
