Trasimeno in great suffering from drought but resists

(ANSA) – PERUGIA, 13 JULY – The Trasimeno level drops again, touching less than one meter and 37 centimeters on the hydrometric zero on the island of Polvese, but continues to “resist” in everyday life, made up of tourists and fish fauna .

The lake is in great pain due to the prolonged absence of rain and the torrid heat that is characterizing the summer. A suffering that manifests itself at a glance from afar, when, arriving from the parts of San Feliciano di Magione, the body of water is so “dry” that you can only see mucilage and the vegetation that protrudes from the seabed.
