The operation extended from Tuscany to Piedmont, Veneto and Lazio. The investigating judge ordered the emergency seizure for a total amount of 5,139,000 euros equal to the false credit relating to the bonus facade, a support measure issued by the Government with the relaunch decree (DL34 / 2020). 15 searches carried out on prestigious real estate companies and well-known professionals in the Montecatini area. The suspects, for the investigations of the prosecutor of Pistoia and the Gdf, are involved in various capacities, in an articulated and complex criminal association, with an operational base in Montecatini Terme and ramifications in the Italian territory and abroad. The aggravated fraud for obtaining and marketing the tax credits relating to the facade bonus was contested in the investigation. In particular, the investigations examined an srl in the construction sector which issued invoices for works never carried out against companies that own famous hotels located in spa or tourist cities, with the method of discounting the invoice and the simultaneous assignment of credit. , recognized by the financial administration, to the aforementioned company.
