(ANSA) – FORLÌ, 14 JUL – At least 35 earthquakes recorded by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (Ingv) on the Forlì Apennines were, from last night to this morning, between instrumental and more intense. A seismic swarm that has so far caused fear in the population but no damage.
Two are the most intense tremors: one of magnitude 3.1 on the Richter scale at 20.36 with its epicenter in the municipal area of Meldola and the other of 3.2 at 20.52. All were warned by a large part of the population, especially on the upper floors of the houses. The swarm then continued with dozens of events with an epicenter between the Meldolese and the outskirts of Forlì.
No damage was reported but there were many phone calls received from the fire brigade and law enforcement centers from frightened citizens. (HANDLE).
