(ANSA) – AVELLINO, 14 JUL – Surrounded, threatened, pushed by a group of very young people. This is the complaint presented by two young women from Avellino who were returning home last night crossing via Duomo, in the historic center of the city. They managed to sound the alarm with their mobile phones, but when a police patrol arrived, the young attackers had lost track.
The episode took place in the area destined for nightlife in the summer, with the closure of traffic in the entire historic center every day from twenty to one in the morning.
The residents are asking the municipality and the Prefecture to more rigorous controls on commercial establishments that sell alcohol to minors and to increase the presence of law enforcement and municipal police in the area. (HANDLE).
