Ryanair finds 54 kids stuck in London

(ANSA) – MILAN, JUL 15 – A solution has been found for the 54 children between 13 and 17 who risked having to stay in England given that their return flight to Bergamo from London Stansted scheduled for next Sunday was canceled due to the strike of the Italian air traffic controllers.

The main problem was that 21 of them are under the age of 14 and therefore must travel with the 4 accompanying persons who are with them and who are indicated on the accompanying form issued by the Police Headquarters. So the group could not be divided. Not to mention that buying tickets from another company at the last moment involved very high costs.

Yesterday Ryanair contacted the travel agency Mexico and Clouds, after the parents of the boys raised the alarm. And today the solution has arrived, says Laura Sangalli, one of the owners of the agency. The boys will all return together on the flight departing from London on Sunday at 19.55, after the strike time which is scheduled from 14 to 18. (ANSA).
