eteo: ROME (ANSA) – ROME, JUL 15 – The sixth heat wave of 2022 is coming, driven by a new African anticyclone, which has begun to make its effects felt in the Iberian Peninsula, with peaks of 45-46 degrees. The site iLMeteo.it reports this, noting that the new heat wave could bring thermal zero up to an altitude of 4,800 meters, i.e. the altitude above which the temperature is below zero. It is expected that the anticyclone from Africa could also reach Germany, Denmark and Great Britain and that the temperature in the next few days could reach 40 degrees in Paris, 37 in London and 30 in Dublin. In Italy, the African anticyclone could begin to make itself felt already today, with temperatures between 37 and 38 degrees in Lombardy and Emilia Romagna, and persist for a period that “at best it could last until the middle of next week, at worst until at the end of July”. Over the weekend, the heat will also extend to the Central-Southern regions
