Tomorrow bomb defusing in Bolzano, evacuation for 4,400 people

Ukraine, Zelensky:

As established by the mayor’s ordinance, Renzo Caramaschi, by 8.45 am, will have to temporarily leave their homes. These are those who live within a radius of 468 meters from the place where the bomb was found. Both the start of the operations, by the Military Engineers (2nd Alpine Engineers Regiment of Trento – Julia Brigade), and the conclusion, expected by about 12.00, will be signaled by the sound of the civil protection sirens.

Train circulation will be interrupted, the railway station closed and the SS12 from the Virgolo tunnel (via Claudia Augusta side) to Ponte Campiglio closed. No repercussions on the viability of the Brenner motorway. The supply of electricity will be suspended from 9.00 until the end of operations in an area 250 meters from the bomb.

As happened on previous occasions, the municipality makes the Palasport in via Resia available to the evacuated citizens who can wait for the defusing operations to be completed. Sasa offers one last special race from the “red zone” to the Palasport in via Resia starting at 9.05 am from Piazza Stazione.

Covid-positive people or people in trustee quarantine of the “red zone” will be able to go to a special structure that will be communicated shortly or independently or by booking an accompaniment to the single number of the Red Cross and White Cross by 12.00 on Friday 15 July. (HANDLE).
