(ANSA) – BARI, JUL 18 – Three victims, including a 14-year-old girl, are the toll of two road accidents that occurred late yesterday evening in Puglia. The first impact on Statale 16 Adriatica between Bisceglie and Trani: the 14-year-old was traveling aboard a motorbike, driven by her boyfriend, when the vehicle would collide, perhaps with a rear-end collision, with a car traveling in the same direction. After the impact they both fell and at that point the 14-year-old would have been hit by another car moving in the opposite direction. When the 118 health workers arrived on the scene, the girl was already dead. The 18-year-old was instead taken to the hospital in code red, where he is still hospitalized but would not be in danger of life.
A couple of motorcyclists lost their lives in San Foca Marina di Melendugno: Antonio Carlà, 47, from Lecce and Sara Rollo, 43, a beautician from San Donato. The two, at the end of an evening spent with friends, were returning home on a large-displacement motorbike when on the coast road at the entrance to San Foca, probably after touching the curb of the cycle path, the 47-year-old lost his control of the two wheels. Both were thrown onto the asphalt, dying instantly. (HANDLE).
