(ANSA) – MILAN, JUL 18 – The Municipality of Milan has decided to allocate 120 thousand euros as a contribution for the presence of stewards in the Movida areas. More precisely, the council has approved guidelines for disbursing funds to associations, organizations or institutions representing merchants and owners of bars and clubs to be used between September 7 and October 31 to “offer subsidiary security services and activities that counteract the negative aspects of nightlife “in” useful synergies with the local police and with all the police forces involved in controlling the city and maintaining public order.

The use of stewards (who must be registered in the national database of sworn guards) is foreseen, also in rotation among the commercial establishments. The resolution indicates which areas are concerned and which is the maximum funding depending on the area: ranging from the area of Corso Como and Gae Aulenti (10 thousand euros), to that of via Lazzaretto (18 thousand euros) to the Navigli (38 thousand euros) ), to NoLo (5 thousand euros).
