(ANSA) – CATANIA, 19 JUL – From 2017 to 2020 it would employ 65 workers making them appear as training internships. This is the accusation contested by the Guardia di Finanza of Catania against a well-known hotel in the city that has received fines of over 1.6 million euros.
From the inspection activity of the economic and financial police unit, in the current state of the administrative procedure in which the cross-examination with the party was not fully realized, it emerged that “a well-known hotel complex would have concealed the existence of real relationships of subordinate work, in order to evade the related social security and welfare contributions to be paid to INPS and Inail in favor of employees “.
According to the accusation, 65 workers, in the period 2017-2020, would have carried out extra-curricular internships, remunerated only by way of reimbursement of expenses.
For the Fiamme Gialle, on the other hand, “the employment relationships referable to the 65 alleged ‘trainees’ have been retrained into ‘subordinate employment’ relationships” (ANSA).
