(ANSA) – OLBIA, 19 JUL – A child and a woman were injured, fortunately not seriously, following an explosion on a 10-meter inflatable boat with inboard engine, while refueling in Portisco, a tourist resort of the Gallura coast, between Porto Rotondo and Porto Cervo.
Two 118 ambulances intervened on the spot, transporting the wounded to the emergency room of the Olbia hospital, the fire brigade and two patrols of the Coast Guard of the Golfo Aranci maritime district office, coordinated by the commander, the lieutenant of the vessel. Francesco D’Esposito.
Two adults and five children were on board the rubber dinghy at the time of the outbreak. The injured were hit by the hatch of the engine compartment which blew up and suffered bruises that were initially deemed not serious and are now in the hospital in Olbia for investigations. (HANDLE).
