(ANSA) – OLBIA, 20 JUL – Thanks to the nose of the three anti-drug dogs, Semia, Betty and Ether, the Guardia di Finanza of Olbia arrested a 36-year-old man in port, of Nigerian origin but residing in the Pisano, who was transporting to inside your body 68 eggs containing almost a kilo of cocaine.
The discovery was made during the checks at the landing of a motor ship coming from Livorno. After a personal inspection of the subject, which showed a state of evident agitation, the military accompanied the man to the Giovanni Paolo II hospital in Olbia, where radiographic examinations revealed numerous foreign bodies present in the digestive system. Once expelled, the Yellow Flames verified that cocaine was contained within the 68 ova for a total of 931 grams.
The man was then arrested on suspicion of drug trafficking and transferred to the “Paolo Pittalis” prison in Tempio Pausania. (HANDLE).
