35-year-old computer technician from Aosta found dead in Thailand

(ANSA) – AOSTA, 20 JUL – A young computer technician from Valle d’Aosta died in Thailand, where he was spending a holiday. Matteo Roppo, 35, was found lifeless on Sunday 10 July in the swimming pool of the resort where he was staying, on the island of Kho Phangan, in the province of Surat Thani.

“From the first findings of the autopsy carried out by the Thai authorities, no traumas emerged. The causes are not yet known with certainty. They are probably natural but we must wait for the medical report to arrive”, explains the mother, the psychologist Rossella Anna, to ANSA. Pivot. “He was found – she explains – on the morning of Sunday 10 July, but already in the afternoon of the day before my messages were not read and at 6 pm he did not show up for the appointment we had via Skype”.
