(ANSA) – ROME, JUL 20 – 86,067 new infections from Covid have been registered in the last 24 hours, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Yesterday the infected were 120,683. The victims are 157, down from 176 yesterday. The rate is 22.6%, substantially stable (yesterday 23.2%), and 380,121 swabs were performed in all, including antigenic and molecular.
Instead, 410 patients are hospitalized in intensive care, 3 less than yesterday. There are 42 daily admissions. There are 11,037 hospitalized in ordinary wards, compared to 62 more than yesterday. Coronavirus positive Italians are currently 1,459,376, compared to 6,435 more yesterday. In total, 20,385,814 people have been infected since the beginning of the pandemic, while the deaths rise to 170,370. The discharged and healed are 170,370 with an increase of 80,209. (HANDLE).
