(ANSA) – MASSAROSA, 22 JUL – The firefighters, together with the other firefighting teams, worked all night to extinguish the last, residual fire outbreaks that remained in the hamlets of Montigiano, Valpromaro and Chiatri, in addition to guarding actively, also by means of images provided by drones, all urban and wooded areas of the territory hit by the strong fire. This is what was made known by the rescuers themselves.
The fire brigade teams took turns reducing the number from one hundred to 87. On the spot, the regions involved in the rescue are Tuscany, Lombardy and Piedmont while the mobile columns of Emilia Romagna are returning to their headquarters.
At the moment the uncouplings of the AIB helicopter of the Tuscany Region are in progress, which together with the ground teams, will continue the reclamation of the areas. (HANDLE).
