(ANSA) – NAPLES, JUL 23 – Two drones of the Campania Region Civil Protection flew over the body of water in front of the islet of Li Galli, on the Amalfi Coast, this morning at dawn, to check if there was pollution after the accident involving a 20-meter Pershing yacht: yesterday the pleasure boat was completely engulfed in flames.

The intervention of the Regional Civil Protection, in support of the Salerno Harbor Master’s Office, which coordinated the activities and provided for the rescue operations, also made it possible to recover the material of the boat that would otherwise have been lost at sea.

This morning, after the overflight of the regional civil protection, pieces of wood from the boat and diesel were collected by a depolluting boat of the Ministry of the Environment. (HANDLE).
