(ANSA) – EMPOLI (FLORENCE), 23 JUL – There is a third investigated by the Florence prosecutor for the story of the health workers spied with a micro-camera placed in the shower rooms of the women’s changing room on the ground floor of the San Giuseppe hospital in Empoli (Florence).
Like the first two who ended up under the lens of the magistrates, the third would also be a technician employed by a company that works in contract for the ASL Toscana Centro, and who would have had access, like other people, to the service room where the carabinieri of Empoli, who are carrying out the investigations, have found the cables and the monitor connected to the camera embedded in the wall of the women’s locker room. The investigation assumes the crime of unauthorized access to a computer system protected by security measures. The collaboration of the experts of the postal police and of a group specialized in computer and sexual crimes continues, to verify the hypothesis that the filmed images of women in the shower ended up on the Internet, in some pornographic site. Another crime hypothesis would be that of revenge porn, i.e. the public sharing of intimate images or videos via the Internet without the consent of the protagonists, for the purpose of revenge, extortion, profit seeking or to annihilate the hated person.
