The events took place around 11.30 pm, when the Carabinieri of the Napoli Centro company were called from the emergency room of the Pellegrini hospital where an injured boy, a 15-year-old with a clean record from Marano di Napoli, had been transported from 118 shortly before. The young man had a deep wound in his abdomen. His friends were also in the hospital.
According to a first summary reconstruction yet to be verified, the boys were in Vicoletto II San Giovanni Maggiore when they were approached by “a black individual” who for no apparent reason would have hit the boy with something sharp, and then move away.
