(ANSA) – PALMANOVA, 25 JUL – The deputy governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia with powers of Civil Protection and Health, Riccardo Riccardi, has announced that the fire situation in the Monfalconese Karst, where a helicopter has operated for reclamation until yesterday evening of fumaroles, is “under control”. The fire in Drenchia (Udine) has also been extinguished in the meantime and the situation is also under control in Montereale (Pordenone), Pulfero (Udine) and Frisanco (Pordenone).
On the Resia front (Udine), on the other hand, one helicopter and two Canadianaires operated until last night; the fire is not yet extinguished but appears to be decreasing. A helicopter also operated in Claut (Pordenone).
Given the situation on the Italian fronts in clear improvement, the deputy governor informed that a Canadair has been sent to support operations in Slovenia. (HANDLE).
