Meetings with minors, charges against policeman filed

(ANSA) – TRIESTE, 26 JUL – The Gip of the Court of Bologna signed a decree of dismissal against the police officer of the Udine Police Headquarters who had been accused of having arranged a meeting, in Bologna, with a Pordenone girl at the age under age, for sexual purposes and in exchange for a payment in money. Messaggero Veneto writes it today on newsstands.

The investigating judge accepted the relative request of the prosecutor, Michele Martorelli, to whom, after the interrogation, on 22 February last, the manager had shown that it was a sensational change of person. In fact, on 28 February, house arrest was lifted.

The police officer, then head of the Administrative, Social and Immigration Police Division of the Udine Police Headquarters, was arrested on February 15, accused of the crime of child prostitution as part of an investigation into a ring of underage prostitutes in Parioli From Rome.

At first the Department of Public Security had suspended him from service, then, reinstated, he was aggregated to the Treviso Police Headquarters.

“We are satisfied”, but “I expected faster times, after the revocation of the precautionary measure”, commented the defender, lawyer Stefano Comand, to the Friulian daily.

The events were believed to have occurred in 2018 in Bologna, where the agent was thought to have agreed on a meeting with the underage girl; a ‘neutral’ city where neither the policeman nor the girl have ever lived or worked. (HANDLE).
