(ANSA) – VARESE, 27 JUL – A fire broke out this morning at a chemical processing company in Uboldo (Varese), in via Legnano. The flames have reached the company’s chemical storage warehouse, including a component used in the preparation of hair bleaches, which reacts negatively to water and therefore requires an ad hoc technique. Three fire brigade teams are working with the specialists of the Nbcr of Milan to remove the pallets on which the compound is stored and to break down the fumes, then the material will be loaded on heavy vehicles and covered with a layer of earth to be transported to a safe area. At present there are no risks for the population. The situation is constantly monitored also with instrumental surveys by the ARPA. (HANDLE).
