(ANSA) – TURIN, JUL 27 – Blitz this afternoon by activists of the international climate movements who blocked hundreds of the roundabout in Corso Giulio Cesare in Turin at the entrance to the Turin-Milan motorway. A banner that reads “Stop fossil fuel” has been rolled out on top of the two skyscrapers, once known as Torri Di Vittorio. Big inconveniences in traffic and long queues throughout the area. The activists have reached the entrance to the Climate Social Camp, which is joined by various acronyms from Fridays For Future to social centers from Extinction Rebellion Greenpeace, from Parco della Colletta. Environmentalists have formed a “Pacific circle”. “For the first time all the united climate movements of Italy and Europe have taken to the streets together – they say – it is time for politics to listen to our voice”.
