(ANSA) – BRESCIA, 28 JUL – In the whole Vallecamonica area, in Bresciano, between Niardo and Braone, there is a lack of water and gas in homes. The evacuees were transferred to the gymnasium and the oratory of the two countries.
Fearing a new wave of bad weather, the bulldozers have accumulated piles of sand, earth and boulders to try to free the main road but the situation remains critical.
Dozens of cars are blocked by mud and debris. The local police explained: “A pocket of water and mud has formed upstream of the village, for now it is not safe to return and we must all stay out of the houses”. As a precaution, 105 young people from the Campo Tres summer camp in Ceto were evacuated because the connecting roads are partially interrupted.
