Culture, Cavallaro:

(ANSA) – ARQUATA DEL TRONTO, JUL 28 – A volume of 7,434 cubic meters of rubble ready to be processed, transported and recovered or disposed of. An overall weight that is around 11,895 tons. An intervention worth almost 3 million euros. An important intervention takes shape in the heart of the historic center of Arquata del Tronto (Ascoli Piceno) which will involve 24 buildings damaged, or collapsed after the earthquake of 2016, based on a project approved by the Special Reconstruction Office (Usr), which provides for the safety, demolition, removal, sorting, transport and recovery of the rubble. These are buildings that, for safety reasons, hinder the repair of adjacent or neighboring buildings, as well as their subsequent reconstruction.

“We are facing a rather complex intervention, which has a cost of 2 million 824.639 euros and which develops in a rather large area, with considerable differences in height – explains the USR -. The internal road network does not allow, in fact, the easy passage of road and construction vehicles, for which alternative roads will be built using waste materials, or mixed-stabilized materials and small parts of the ancient streets of the village will be enlarged and restored. The material coming from the demolitions, then, will be subjected to a careful choice, in order to recover any emotional or valuable goods present within the rubble itself “. (HANDLE).
