A few hours after the murder in Civitanova Marche of the Nigerian peddler Alika Ogorchukwu by a 32-year-old Italian, in Recanat, also in the province of Macerata, a 22-year-old born in the city, but of North African origins, was stabbed. A 47-year-old local would have attacked him.
The incident took place around one in the morning, in Vicolo Iacometti, a central street. A violent quarrel broke out between the two, the reasons for which are still being examined by the investigators, a quarrel that later resulted in the stabbing. The 22-year-old, who was seriously injured, was rescued by the 118 alerted by some residents.
