(ANSA) – BOLOGNA, 31 JUL – Four twenty-year-old girls were hit and injured in front of a club in Lido di Spina (Ferrara), by a car driven by a young man who then fled.
Three suffered injuries of medium severity, while one was transported in a more serious condition to the Maggiore hospital in Bologna.
The driver was then followed, quickly tracked down not far away joined by a crowd of young people, including friends of the girls, who ‘lynched’ him: at the end he suffered medium-severity injuries. Saved by the local bouncers and the intervening carabinieri, he was arrested for serious road injuries and failure to rescue. Toxicology tests are underway. The girls are resident in the province of Ferrara, while the arrested is from Modena. The validation hearing is scheduled for tomorrow. (HANDLE).
