(ANSA) – IMPERIA, 31 JUL – Two boats adrift in the Imperia area, between Bordighera and Sanremo. The first is a small motorboat rented by a fifty-year-old German on which a farewell note was found for the family. This suggests that the man may have made an extreme gesture. A fisherman had found the boat and reported the case to the Harbor Master’s Office. Two patrol boats and a Coast Guard helicopter are patrolling the stretch of sea to the border with France.
The second case concerns an inflatable boat. Various fishing materials were found on board. At the moment it is not known who it belongs to and no reports of disappearance have been made. It is possible that on board there may have been a fisherman who fell ill and ended up in the water. Also for this case the Harbor Master’s Office is investigating. (HANDLE).
