(ANSA) – BOLZANO, 02 AUG – Difficult intervention of the Pelikan 2 helicopter rescue last night on the Sassolungo, in Val Gardena. At dusk two climbers, a man and a woman, were in trouble while they were climbing the Innerkofler Tower and raised the alarm. They were in good condition, but they did not have the necessary equipment to spend a night on the wall. This is how the rescue operation by the Val Gardena mountain rescue started, which with the help of the Pelikan 2 helicopter, recovered the two mountaineers, bringing them back to the valley just in time.
