(ANSA) – GABICCE MONTE, 04 AUG – Raped and beaten by a 35-year-old she met the same evening, after a few hours spent happily together in a disco. It happened on the night between last Thursday and Friday outside the “Baia Imperiale” nightclub, around 2am, in Gabicce Monte, in the province of Pesaro Urbino. The victim is an 18-year-old girl, on vacation with her family in Riccione, while the alleged rapist is a 35-year-old from Veneto, also on vacation on the Romagna coast.
When the police were alerted, the investigations of the Flying Squad made it possible to identify and stop the alleged rapist.
From what has been learned, the two did not know each other until that evening, when they made friends inside the disco. They spent hours together and then, around 2, he would offer to take the girl back to the hotel.
Instead, once in the car, according to an initial reconstruction, the man’s attitude would have become violent, with the girl forced to suffer sexual violence and beatings to silence her. Once she got out of the car, the 18-year-old called her family to be accompanied to the hospital in Rimini: she allegedly suffered some fractures with a prognosis of 45 days. When the police were alerted, the investigations were initiated and the arrest was then validated with the transfer of the 35-year-old to prison. Now the competence has passed to the Pesaro Prosecutor’s Office because the fact happened in the Gabicce area. The prosecutor on duty is Dr. Maria Letizia Fucci, who will hear the young woman and formulate any request to the investigating judge for a precautionary measure in prison against the 35-year-old.
