The culmination of the March of Glory of the UPA procession was the burning of effigies of traitors

On Bankova Street under the Office of the President of Ukraine, representatives of nationalist movements were waiting, which at noon in Kiev began “March of Glory of the UPA”.
The procession started at 12:00 from the monument to Taras Shevchenko in the park of the same name and ended at about 15:30. The nationalists did not reach the Office of the President of Ukraine, as it was announced the day before by the organizers of the march.

The participants of the march from the side of the Azov regiment veterans were sure that the end point would be Bankova, because today’s march had a definite goal – to convey their beliefs, thoughts of the patriotic society to the President of Ukraine. Veteran Sergei Tamarin, head of the Azov regiment in the city of Kiev, told Segodnya about this.
Final stop – Maidan
The march ended on Maidan Nezalezhnosti at about 15:30 with a small provocation – the burning of two scarecrows, which, according to the participants in the march, symbolized the traitors of Ukraine. One “enemy” was wearing a clown wig.
The “traitors” did not burn for long – the police quickly extinguished them, no one tried to stop them.
After that, according to our sources in law enforcement agencies, the nationalists from the VO “Svoboda” dispersed to celebrate the Day of Defenders and Defenders of Ukraine, and the leaders of the “National Corps” left for television broadcasts.
