(ANSA) – CREMONA, AUGUST 05 – A positive result for the alcohol test, the Cremonese motorist who in the night between Tuesday and Wednesday had overwhelmed and killed a 41-year-old in Regona di Pizzighettone, in the province of Cremona, is being investigated for road murder. The 29-year-old was driving a Peugeot 308 and had run over the woman on the side of the road, who was returning home by bicycle after an evening with friends.
After the accident, the Cremonese was subjected to the alcohol test and tested positive. Defended by the lawyer Alessandro Vezzoni, he declared that he had not noticed the presence of the cyclist on that stretch of road. Meanwhile, the prosecutor has ordered an expert opinion to reconstruct the dynamics of the clash.
