(ANSA) – SAURIS, 06 AUGUST – The disturbance that struck some areas of Friuli Venezia Giulia in the late evening yesterday and during the night caused two landslides in Sauris (Udine), which at the moment can only be reached from the side Friulian, while the climb from Veneto is forbidden.
There are no injuries or cars involved in the landslide.
Since this morning, the firefighters and civil protection volunteers, as well as the staff of Veneto Streets, who have responsibility for the collapsed section, are at work to clear the roadway. It is not yet known how long the viability will be interrupted: once the material has been removed, the geology of the slope will have to be analyzed. Access to the tourist resort is limited to using the Pura pass.
