(ANSA) – MILAN, AUGUST 08 – The rescue intervention of a 30-year-old speleologist from Milan, hit by a stone while he was inside the Remeron cave, in Comerio (Varese), ended yesterday evening .
The man was joined by an Alpine Rescue doctor who, after checking his condition, felt that he was able to move and proceed without the need to use the stretcher. The speleologist was then accompanied to the exit, always monitored by the sanitary staff and continuously assisted by the technicians.
In the vertical sections and in the more complex ones – explains the Alpine Rescue – a counterweight system has also been set up, which makes it possible to avoid further efforts and fatigue. The speleological rescue technicians of the IX Lombard Delegation participated in the operations, together with colleagues who arrived from various regions of Italy. (HANDLE).
