(ANSA) – FLORENCE, 08 AUG – Police investigations are underway in Florence for an accident caused by a car in the wrong direction on the Fi-Pi-Li highway that impacted on Sunday evening, around 11.30 pm, between Florence and Lastra a Signa two cars that came from the correct direction. The car, a Polo, was driven by a 33-year-old Moroccan who caused a car accident. Five injured are hospitalized: they are himself, plus the three occupants of a BMW and that of a Twingo. According to a reconstruction of the police, the man in Florence took the carriageway from Pisa-Livorno on the contrary and after traveling for a while, at the Scandicci junction he collided with the two cars regularly coming in the opposite direction.
