According to forecasts, a depression centered on Eastern Europe determines conditions of instability also on our peninsula, in particular on the southern regions, with scattered showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, locally of strong intensity, especially on inland and mountainous areas. For this reason, the notice foresees scattered showers and thunderstorms from early afternoon today and in the central hours of tomorrow, over Campania, Basilicata, Calabria and Sicily. The phenomena will be accompanied by strong showers, frequent electrical activity, hailstorms and strong gusts of wind. On the basis of the phenomena in progress and forecast, a yellow alert was assessed for tomorrow in Campania, Sicily, Calabria, Basilicata and most of Sardinia.
