(ANSA) – TURIN, 11 AUG – The police officers of the Novara Police Headquarters in recent days have arrested a man for mistreating his partner. The man has now returned to freedom and the judicial authority has ordered a ban on approaching the woman.
The policemen had intervened after a report about screams and requests for help from a woman in an apartment in the city and upon their arrival they found her still in tears, visibly frightened and with evident signs on the body attributable to beatings.
In the apartment there was also a man in a state of agitation and visibly drunk and in the house there was a lot of disorder, with several objects shattered and spilled on the ground. At that point, the woman said she was a victim of domestic violence, both physical and psychological and she showed bruises and bruises due to the beating the man had inflicted on her with the use of a stick.
